Dakota’s Review:
This is the first offering I’ve read of Ms. Sawyer and I have to say, Blind Date
delivered as the blurb promised. As I read through this fast paced book, I
couldn’t help but be drawn to Quincy. If I’ve ever met a more spunky character
in recent history, I can’t remember. The idea she’s trying to fulfill her father’s
dream in such an unlikely and definitely male dominated world of race car
driving had me cheering her on. Despite Mace’s opinion of Quincy’s hobby, I
couldn’t help but love his character. As a daughter of a former hobby stock
driver, I could totally relate to Mace’s feelings regarding the danger of this fast
paced sport.
Ms. Sawyer has penned a wonderfully entertaining, yet intriguing story and this
reviewer will add her to my list of must read authors. If you’re looking for a
wonderful contemporary store with vibrant characters, Blind Date is definitely
the book for you.
